Production Polishing / Graining

Description

We are seeking an individual who would like to join our growing team as a Polisher / Grainer. Individual will be responsible for polishing or graining aluminum parts to high-quality standards. We will train the right candidate who is willing to learn our process. With our continued growth, we are always looking for hard-working, professional individuals to join our team. This position is full time, day shift, Monday - Friday 730a -4pm in a climate-controlled facility. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Finish or polish AL parts using a variety of stationary grinders, buffing wheels and sanders.
• Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, dust masks etc.
• Move material weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, kneeling, squatting and twisting.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Work with your department team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• May have to prepare product for shipment.
• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
