We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our client's growing data team in a flexible hybrid role based in Cape Town. In this position, you will play a central role in shaping the Group’s global analytics landscape. You won’t just be building reports—you will help define reusable semantic models, streamline legacy reporting, and establish scalable BI standards for business units across the globe.

Requirements
Must-Haves (Essential):
- Experience: 3–5+ years of dedicated professional experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data modeling.
- Power BI & DAX Mastery: Strong hands-on experience building complex Power BI reports, advanced DAX measures, and Power Query (M) transformations.
- Data Modeling Expertise: Solid practical understanding of dimensional modeling principles (star schemas, shared dimensions, hierarchies).
- SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL querying skills to investigate, validate, and manipulate underlying datasets independently.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical data concepts and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Natural curiosity to dig deep into business logic and data discrepancies rather than applying surface-level fixes.
