Description
Leads interventions in after school and summer prevention programs that focus on youth who are identified as high-risk for adverse childhood experiences. Provides school-based prevention and intervention services including implementing evidence-based prevention and intervention curriculum in high need schools. Provides evidence-based prevention strategies to promote pro-social engagement and decrease risk factors for substance abuse, gangs, violence, suicide, and other negative social determents of health. Collaborates with other programs, agencies and/or community stakeholders to provide appropriate behavioral health prevention and intervention strategies. Conducts community outreach and education; consult with community agencies, groups, and service providers. Transports individuals utilizing Loudoun County vehicles which may include a 12-person van. Complies with applicable Federal, State, County, Department, and Division policies, procedures, and regulations; completes required training and policy and process reviews.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred.
- Prefer certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
