JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and refine CISA’s end-to-end international travel process, continuously improving procedures, forms, workflows, and policy guidance for travelers.
- Provide proactive, customer-centric support to CISA personnel planning or conducting international travel, including answering complex questions, explaining policy requirements, and assisting with travel system navigation.
- Coordinate the efficient collection, review, and distribution of post-travel trip reports, ensuring they are properly recorded, securely stored, and made readily available for agency analysis.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive guidance materials, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and information session content to ensure all staff understand current travel policies and processes.
- Support the creation of strategic reports and briefing materials that identify travel trends, compile statistics, and utilize graphics/charts for leadership review.
- Strong background in process management, workflow optimization, and travel administration within a complex organizational structure.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a proven ability to guide users clearly through complex administrative and logistical procedures.
- Comfortable working extensively with administrative records, standard operating forms, and automated workflow tools.
- Ability to synthesize travel data into clear, visually appealing statistical reports and trend analyses for senior leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in process management, travel administration, or customer service in a structured environment, preferably supporting Federal or large organizational travel or workflow processes.
- Clearance: Eligibility for and ability to maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
- Location: Primarily at the Government facility in Arlington, Virginia (NCR), with potential telework options as required by the agency.
