Analyze customer data, event data, and large-scale datasets to define data requirements, validate data quality and transformation logic, identify data patterns and anomalies, and support the design of data solutions.
-
Design, write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries and data transformations across Presto, Hive, and NoSQL systems.
-
Develop and modify Python scripts and solutions for data processing, automation, workflow integration, and API integrations.
-
Design and implement data solutions within cloud platforms, primarily AWS, applying cloud data architecture, storage, security, and integration principles.
-
Perform exploratory data analysis to validate assumptions, identify anomalies and data dependencies, and translate stakeholder requirements into data and system requirements.
-
Document data processes, business rules, transformation logic, system requirements, integrations, and workflow designs in Confluence or similar platforms.
-
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, marketing, CRM teams, and SMEs to analyze business and technical requirements, define data and integration requirements, and ensure solution accuracy.
-
Design, configure, and enhance CDP workflow orchestration using tools such as Digdag and TD Workflows to implement data pipelines, dependencies, and scheduled processing.
-
Design, enhance, and monitor data quality frameworks, including validation logic, automated checks, alerts, and pipeline observability.
-
Apply CI/CD and Git-based version control best practices to SQL, Python scripts, workflow configurations, and technical documentation.
-
Incorporate applicable privacy and compliance requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, and PII handling, into data processing and solution design.
-
Design and implement solutions to end-to-end data challenges, from ingestion and integration through transformation, analysis, and activation.
-
Design and refine data models, schemas, identity-resolution logic, and customer profile structures based on business and system requirements.
-
Define technical specifications and integration logic for data flows between CDP, CRM, cloud, API, and downstream systems.
-
Evaluate alternative approaches for data ingestion, transformation, integration, and workflow design based on scalability, performance, data quality, and implementation requirements.
-
Assess technical feasibility, dependencies, data constraints, and implementation considerations for new CDP and data-platform requirements.
-
Maintain rigorous attention to detail, especially with customer-level and production data.
-
Proactively analyze and improve automation, data quality, workflow architecture, reliability, and system performance.
-
Communicate insights and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Partner with SMEs to understand business context, analyze and refine data and system requirements, evaluate solution approaches, and validate technical solution accuracy.
Troubleshooting & Support:
-
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex data pipeline failures, ingestion issues, integration defects, and workflow errors.
-
Perform technical root-cause analysis of data and system issues using logs, pipeline metadata, data lineage, and system monitoring tools.
-
Support production environments by analyzing pipeline behavior, validating data transformations and outputs, and identifying technical changes needed to improve data accuracy, availability, and system reliability.
-
Design and implement code, configuration, workflow, and data-processing changes to resolve identified issues and prevent recurring problems.
-
Maintain technical documentation of identified issues, root causes, implemented solutions, and preventive design changes to strengthen operational reliability.
