Job Title:
Logistics Coordinator (TMS - Transportation Management System)Summary:
Logistics coordinators are the operational center of freight transportation in ensuring the effectiveness of transportation planning, carrier management, freight visibility, and logistics execution.Responsibilities Include:
- Executing the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Management System (TMS) or any logistics activities
- Analyzing transportation performance data, freight costs, carrier service levels,
- Maintaining TMS master data, transportation rules, workflows, and reporting
- Initiative idea for opportunities to improve logistics processes, freight efficiency, and system utilization
- Perform verifying and validation data or audit before posted payment
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials on SharePoint
- Coordinating activities, including logistics and system validation
- Works effectively across logistics service providers (2PL, 3PL & 4PL) to solve service issues
- Supporting TMS implementations, integrations, and optimization
- Execution of a change management initiative
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the manager
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or degree in logistics or supply chain any related fields
- 4-years’ experience in supply chain management for chemical business/industrial.
- Good skill in warehouse management.
- Good in communicate and written in English.
- Safety consciousness.
- Good experience in logistics management Experience in transportation planning, carrier management, freight operations, and logistics execution processes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of transportation analytics, freight cost management, and performance reporting is preferred.
- Background from multinational companies in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Dangerous: Good knowledge is required (IMDG, IATA, DIW).
- Proficiency in MS Office software and knowledge and experience of SAP are a plus.
- Capability to lead a team and drive actions
- Can-do attitude, management with teamwork collaboration
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2025, ISO45001:2025, EffCi requirement, GMP, DG Handling, etc.
