Description
We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate within the Operations Division to support critical Japan Asset Services activities, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of corporate actions, client servicing, regulatory reporting, and operational processes across the Japan market.
Responsibilities.
-Perform operational processing and control activities related to corporate actions, proxy voting, dividends, coupons, deadlines, and regulatory reporting for the Japan market.
-Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, market infrastructures, and external vendors through both Japanese and English communications to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
-Support document preparation, postal correspondence, client inquiries, and other operational activities required to meet local regulatory and business requirements.
-Contribute to cross-training, business continuity planning, and operational resilience initiatives across Tokyo and Osaka teams.
Qualifications;
-Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
-Understanding of financial market operations, securities processing, corporate actions, settlements, or related operations functions.
-Experience in managing detail-oriented, high-volume operational processes while maintaining strong accuracy and control standards.
-Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, more preferably AI-tools.
