Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the Order Handling function for the Indoor Circuit Breaker business, ensuring seamless execution of customer commitments while driving business performance. You will be responsible for order fulfillment, demand alignment, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency across the Order-to-Cash process. By partnering with key stakeholders across Sales, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance, you will ensure sustainable growth, superior customer service, and continuous improvement through digitalization and process excellence.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Distribution Solution Business to be based at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Ensuring achievement of established targets, including Days Inventory on Hand on finished goods, requested on-time delivery, and Net Promoter Score, by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed.
Leading the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, ensuring timely and accurate order execution, and revenue realization.
Building long-term and sustainable customer relationships, prioritizing tasks based on the defined criteria to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
Managing forecasting and demand planning alignment to improve business responsiveness, forecast accuracy, and capacity utilization.
Demonstrating agility and timely decision-making in a fast-paced business environment to effectively manage changing customer demands, operational challenges, and business priorities.
Leading and developing the Order Handling team while fostering a high-performance, Collaborative and customer-centric culture.
Driving operational excellence through digitalization, process standardization, Lean Six Sigma (L6S), continuous improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (full-time). MBA will be an added advantage
10-15 years of experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, Demand Planning, Sales Operations, or related functions.
Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes, forecasting, inventory management, demand planning, and customer fulfillment.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft 365 applications, Power BI, and process automation tools.
Strong leadership, analytical, collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
