About the Role
We are looking for a detail-driven Safety Compliance Coordinator to join our Safety department at our Coalville, UT office. In this role you will keep our safety programs running smoothly behind the scenes — administering workers' compensation and general liability claims, managing our nationwide drug and alcohol testing program, keeping driver qualification and onboarding compliance on track, and overseeing our company-wide AED program. You will work side by side with Safety leadership, HR, field managers, and insurance partners, and report directly to the Safety Director.

- Intake, enter, and track workers' compensation and general liability claims in our corporate claims software.
- Coordinate with field managers, directors, and insurance adjusters throughout the life of each claim.
- Review company dashcam footage, identify safety events, and route findings to the right coach for driver coaching.
- Prepare weekly agendas for safety department meetings and company-wide safety calls.
- Partner with HR on new-employee safety onboarding, including Driver Qualification (DQ) files and determining the correct pre-employment screening type (PHMSA/FMCSA or non-DOT).
- Schedule pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for new hires nationwide, and maintain the quarterly random testing pool with our third-party administrator (TPA).
- Receive, review, and communicate testing results, and report them into client management systems on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis for audits.
- Serve as a trained specimen collector, performing collections at the Coalville office or in the field as needed.
- Plan and support company safety training events, and track and file employee training certificates.
- Support PPE inventory for the Coalville office and project sites, including ordering in coordination with Operations.
- Manage the company's AED program — device locations, inspection compliance, and battery and pad replacements.
- Support field safety teams with office-based compliance and reporting, plus other duties as needed.

What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or related coursework preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Prior construction safety administrative experience preferred; claims processing or insurance administration experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of DOT PHMSA/FMCSA driver qualification and pre-employment drug screening requirements preferred.
- Experience coordinating with a TPA on random testing pools and reporting into client management systems preferred.
- Trained DOT/non-DOT specimen collector, or willingness to become certified after hire.
- Familiarity with dashcam or telematics platforms, AED compliance tracking, and systems such as Bamboo HR, HCSS, ISNetworld, Veriforce, or Cornerstone is a plus.
- Integrity, accountability, initiative, and the discretion to handle confidential personnel information.
What You'll Get
Work Environment
This is an in-office role in Coalville, UT with regular, predictable attendance required; work-from-home is not available. You will occasionally be exposed to field or training conditions during company safety training events, where PPE is required. The role regularly involves sitting and computer use for extended periods, as well as standing, reaching, stooping, and kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs. Travel is 0–10%.
