Why this role matters
The Senior Professional Development Specialist is a high-level individual contributor within the Learning and Development (L&D) department, specifically focused on the "Professional Development" stream. The role is responsible for driving learning technology and operations, managing platform maintenance and LMS rollouts, maintaining assessment frameworks (including AI-proofing and automated learning paths), coordinating global compliance and certifications, and executing data-driven professional development programs across the global organization.
This is an office-based role in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Manage and maintain the learning technology ecosystem, including platform configuration, contract renewals, license management, integrations, and major troubleshooting
- Publish and distribute learning content, maintain platform data, and manage learner communications
- Track learning completion, platform usage, licenses, feedback, and user experience; maintain dashboards and reporting to support decision-making
- Support the implementation and rollout of a new learning management platform planned for 2027, as well as other new learning technologies and integrations
- Implement learning solutions within the platforms based on business needs
- Support the development and implementation of internal assessment tools, including professional assessments and learning plans for requested roles
- Automate assessment, reporting, and other learning operational processes
- Provide technical support for learning content and tools, including AI-related solutions
- Design and manage professional development programs requested by internal stakeholders
- Research learning providers and coordinate external learning solutions based on business needs
- Monitor and coordinate professional certifications and regional compliance training
- Support shared learning initiatives and continuous improvements to learning operations
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development
- Strong understanding of core L&D principles, instructional design frameworks, assessment methodologies, and learning program design
- Hands-on experience managing learning technologies and learning operations
- Deep operational expertise in LMS/LXP implementation, integrations, and development. Experience launching or deploying an LMS/LXP from scratch would be a strong advantage
- Experience leading complex cross-functional learning initiatives in a global environment
- Experience working with internal and external learning ecosystems, including external learning providers
- Strong technical mindset and interest in learning technologies, integrations, automation, AI tools, and emerging EdTech solutions
- Vibe coding experience is a plus
- Experience leading or mentoring L&D professionals is preferred
- Professional certifications in coaching, facilitation, or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ICF) are highly preferred
- Ongoing learning in modern L&D methodologies, learning technologies, or project management
- Flexibility: open-minded and able to adapt learning solutions to evolving business priorities
- Ownership: reliable and proactive, able to work independently and drive initiatives to completion
- Communication & Service Mindset: approachable and clear in learner communications, vendor negotiations, and stakeholder interactions
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work independently with global stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating with business leaders, HRBPs, IT/Tech teams, external vendors, and other L&D professionals across the organization
