We are a seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our growing and thriving organization. This is your opportunity to provide both customer service and effective engagement to the children/families we serve while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

What's Available:

• Casual call position - flexible hours!!

• Shift: Monday-Friday, shifts between 6am-6pm

• Location: Onsite, Child Care Center 

What you will do:

• Plan and implement daily developmentally appropriate programs for children.

• Maintain a safe and conducive environment for growth and development.

• Create tailored lesson plans and promote positive self-esteem.

• Communicate effectively with families and facilitate parent conferences.

• Ensure compliance with licensing rules and oversee co-teachers and volunteers.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency, along with two years of higher education or an equivalent combination of higher education and/or work experience as a childcare teacher in a licensed childcare center.

• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• If higher education is not in child development, course work will be required within 3 months of hire to include: “Introduction to the Child Care Profession”, “Skills and Strategies of the Childcare Teacher.”

• If working with infants: “Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care” course will also be required.
