The Webmaster & Digital Marketing role is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration, technical performance, search visibility, analytics, and digital marketing effectiveness of Opal Group’s websites and related marketing platforms.
This is a hands-on role that combines website management, SEO, analytics, marketing technology, social media, and digital campaign execution. The primary objective is to improve website reliability, traffic, user engagement, lead generation, event registrations, campaign performance, and data visibility across the organization.

Job Type: FT International Consultant
Compensation Range: $1,500 - $1,800 USD per month
Location: Remote

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Website Management & Performance:
    • Manage the day-to-day administration of company websites and content management systems
    • Create and update event pages, landing pages, speaker and sponsor information, forms, navigation, redirects, images, documents, and other website content
    • Monitor website uptime, speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, broken links, crawl errors, and technical performance
    • Troubleshoot website, form, display, tracking, and integration issues
    • Manage or coordinate website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, staging environments, plugins, themes, security updates, and user permissions
    • Perform website quality assurance across major devices and browsers
    • Make basic website changes using HTML and CSS and coordinate advanced development work when required
    • Support website accessibility, privacy, cookie-consent, and security requirements
    • Monitor and manage website crawling and indexing through Google Search Console, including XML sitemaps, URL inspection, robots.txt directives, canonical tags, redirects, crawl errors, and excluded or duplicate pages
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues that prevent website pages from being discovered, crawled, indexed, or properly displayed in search results
    • Manage Google AdSense implementation, account configuration, ad placements, policy compliance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting where applicable
  • SEO & Digital Growth:
    • Execute technical and on-page SEO initiatives, including keyword research, metadata, headings, internal linking, structured data, image optimization, sitemaps, redirects, and indexing
    • Monitor organic traffic, search rankings, crawl activity, search visibility, and indexing performance
    • Work with Marketing teams to optimize event and company content for search visibility and user engagement
    • Identify opportunities to improve landing pages, forms, calls to action, registration paths, and conversion rates
    • Conduct tests and recommend website improvements based on analytics, user behavior, and campaign results
  • Social Media & Digital Campaigns:
    •  Manage the social media content calendar and coordinate the drafting, scheduling, and publishing of company and event-related content
    • Support organic and paid social media campaigns, audience targeting, tracking, testing, and reporting
    • Coordinate campaign graphics, videos, copy, links, and related materials with internal or external resources
    • Monitor social engagement, referral traffic, campaign conversions, comments, messages, and brand activity
    • Build and support coordinated digital campaigns across websites, social media, email, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
    • Implement campaign tracking using UTMs, conversion events, pixels, and standardized naming conventions
  • Analytics & Marketing Technology:
    • Configure and maintain website analytics, tag management, conversion tracking, search-performance, and reporting platforms
    • Develop dashboards and reports covering website traffic, SEO, user behavior, lead generation, registration activity, social media, and campaign effectiveness
    • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve digital performance
    • Administer and support marketing technology tools, CRM integrations, marketing automation, forms, tracking systems, and related workflows
    • Monitor data quality and ensure the accuracy and consistency of marketing performance metrics
    • Document processes, platform configurations, tracking standards, workflows, and system requirements
    • Coordinate website and marketing technology projects from planning through implementation
    • Manage relationships with website, hosting, marketing, and technology vendors as needed
    • Configure, maintain, and optimize Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and related tracking tools
    • Establish and maintain GA4 events, conversions, audiences, campaign tracking, and reporting for website forms, event registrations, downloads, inquiries, and other important user actions
    • Validate analytics and advertising tags to ensure data is collected accurately across websites, landing pages, forms, and registration paths
    • Develop Google Analytics dashboards and reports covering traffic sources, user behavior, conversions, engagement, campaign performance, and website trends
    • Monitor Google AdSense metrics, including impressions, click-through rates, page revenue, ad performance, and policy notifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in website administration, digital marketing, SEO, analytics, marketing technology, or a related role
  • Hands-on experience administering WordPress or a comparable content management system
  • Experience creating and maintaining website pages, landing pages, forms, navigation, redirects, and digital content
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript knowledge is preferred
  • Experience with website analytics, tag management, search-performance, dashboard, and reporting platforms
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, website optimization, user experience, and conversion principles
  • Experience managing business social media accounts, publishing calendars, campaign tracking, and performance reporting
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation, and website integrations
  • Proficiency in Excel and data-visualization or dashboard tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Advanced English skills in verbal and written communication are required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with Marketing, Technology, Sales, and Operations teams
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, including event tracking, conversion configuration, traffic-source analysis, user-behavior reporting, and dashboard development
  • Experience with Google Search Console, website crawling, XML sitemaps, indexing, URL inspection, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, and troubleshooting search-coverage issues
  • Experience implementing and validating website tracking through Google Tag Manager
  • Experience configuring, managing, or supporting Google AdSense, including ad placement, reporting, troubleshooting, and policy compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Digital Media, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with website hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, security, and staging environments
  • Experience managing paid social media or paid search campaigns
  • Experience with event marketing, conference websites, registration systems, or lead-generation campaigns
  • Familiarity with accessibility, privacy, cookie-consent, and digital security practices
  • Basic graphic-editing or design-platform experience
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant experience with website management, SEO, analytics, social media, or digital marketing campaigns are preferred
