Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, Peraton helps deliver the systems and services that keep our nation’s skies safe and connected.
We’re looking for innovative professionals who thrive in mission-critical environments and are passionate about shaping the future of air traffic management. This is your chance to make an impact on one of the world’s most vital transportation infrastructures, working alongside leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.
At Peraton, you won’t just support the mission — you’ll define it.
This position is located in Herndon, VA or Anchorage, AK.
Help shape the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency. We are seeking an Alaska Workstream Deputy Program Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will assist the workstream lead, acting as an additional liaison between FAA stakeholders, engineering teams, and program leadership, ensuring that requirements unique to Alaska’s operational environment are effectively translated into deliverables. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.
In this position, you will:
- Serve as the primary deputy and delegated authority to the Workstream Lead for day-to-day program execution and internal coordination.

- Coordinate with Government counterparts, partner organizations, subcontractors, and internal teams to support delivery of engineering, sustainment, cybersecurity, logistics, and facilities services.
- Support project planning and control activities, including billing and invoicing to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Assist in preparation and delivery of multiple report deliverables, including regular status reports, progress reports, KPIs, and value delivery metrics to FAA leadership, ensuring accuracy of reporting. Lead the development of quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and ad hoc internal data calls.
- Participate in recurring Government status meetings.
- Collaborate with FAA leaders, local operators, and technical experts to help define priorities and ensure alignment with mission objectives.
- Support the deployment of infrastructure, communications, surveillance, and navigation solutions specific to Alaska.
- Ensure personnel compliance with Government policies, security directives, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate staffing activities including onboarding, training, certification tracking, and personnel scheduling.
- Support subcontractor performance oversight and coordination.
- Lead internal action tracking, maintain documentation baselines, and support process improvement efforts.
Why This Role Matters
