We are a team within Commercial Banking focused on meeting the needs of a range of Property Investment and Property Development organisations, typically with aggregated commercial debt parcels ranging between $1 million and $100 million. This newly created position has been established to support the continued growth of our Queensland Property Finance business, providing an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated property investment and development transactions while building your career alongside some of the industry's most experienced bankers.

Your impact

As a key member of the Relationship Management team, you will support the team with research, analysis and the development of comprehensive client and industry insights. You will undertake financial modelling and analysis, assess risks and opportunities on new lending transactions and support ongoing portfolio management activities.

Your role will specifically involve:

• Completing financial modelling and analysis for Construction Services, Property Development and Investment transactions up to $100 million.
• Preparing credit submissions for new facilities and coordinating deal execution through documentation and funding.
• Preparing various reporting requirements, including pipeline leads, client contacts and revenue performance against plan.
• Conducting performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients and reporting client financial and operational performance to Risk Management.
• Working closely with Product Specialists to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

What are we looking for?

We're a high-performing, customer-focused team and we're looking for a self-driven Analyst with a proven track record in a similar Business or Commercial Banking role.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to commercial property clients and work alongside some of the Bank's most experienced Property Finance bankers.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Previous experience analysing and writing credit transactions, completing annual reviews and preparing portfolio reporting within Business and/or Commercial Banking.
• Ideally, a minimum of two years' experience in Property Finance, Property Development and/or Construction Services.
• A strong understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, loan structuring, securities and financial products.
• The ability to prepare deal packs, marketing collateral and presentation materials to support prospecting and business development activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal partners.
• Strong client service experience, ideally gained within a Commercial or Business Banking environment.
• The ability to quickly understand complex transactions, with exposure to new-to-bank lending and credit risk viewed favourably.
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
