YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for Water Industry Workers of all experience levels to join our crews based at Acacia Ridge, Eagle Farm and Bundamba. Whether you're coming from civil construction, plumbing, utilities, pipelaying or a similar trade background, this is your opportunity to secure a permanent role, work with a great team, and build a long-term career in an essential industry that keeps Southeast Queensland running.
No two days are the same. You'll be out in the field inspecting, repairing, replacing and maintaining water and sewer infrastructure, responding to customer service requests and helping keep water flowing safely to homes and businesses across Metro North, Metro South and Ipswich. This is hands-on work where you'll see the results of your efforts every day and take pride in supporting the communities we serve.
You'll be part of a close knit crew that looks after each other, values safety and gets the job done right. We provide the training, tools and support to help you develop new skills, gain industry qualifications and progress your career. If you're someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving and working outdoors, you'll fit right in with our team.
The role requires that you be available to work shifts between 6am – 12am and 12am - 5:30am and work 2 weekends in 10 (shift penalties apply). This roster has set, recurrent rostered days off with regular overtime opportunities. In return, we'll train you in all aspects of the role so that you have real variety and career progression.

WHAT WE HOPE YOU’LL BRING
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future and, ideally, have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Experience in a similar industry – Civil Construction/Maintenance, Plumbing, Utilities, Pipelaying
Strong focus and commitment towards safety
MR or HR driver's licence is mandatory – or willing to obtain prior to employment
Experience operating an excavator and bobcat is desirable but not essential
Being a licenced Plumber is desirable but not essential
A great communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a team
A strong work ethic, with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Please note that you must be physically fit and pass a pre-employment medical before starting with us in this role.
