Job Summary:
The Engineering Finance Team is looking for a highly motivated Finance Principal Specialist to support the Raytheon IRAD Team. This role will provide financial planning, analysis and oversight of the Raytheon Engineering IRAD Multi-million dollar portfolio. Primary responsibilities will include working with project managers and key stakeholders to identify and accurately forecast Engineering IRAD efforts that span all SBUs/Mission Areas/Directorates. Other responsibilities include financial forecasting, providing variance analysis, validating financial accuracy and trends, preparation of financial reporting, and support of tactical and strategic meetings with business leadership. Working with the Engineering Execution Lead, the individual will help lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) preparation and presentation. In addition, this position requires wide-ranging financial support and analysis across Engineering, FP&A and the SBUs regarding project health & prioritization, manpower forecasting, process improvement and overall management of business-related tasks. This role also includes APEX EVMS reporting for projects that meet internal policy thresholds. The successful candidate will partner with the Engineering Execution Lead, Project Leads, and FP&A leads to ensure that the team is aligned, accountable and compliant throughout the IRAD process. This role is a P3 Principal FP&A Specialist and will report to the Engineering IRAD Business Manager.
What You Will Do
Supporting all aspects of financial analysis and control
Partner with the IRAD Manager, Project Leads, and Mission Area FP&A leads providing the team with insight and solutions to better drive the business and program needs
Management of most aspects of program financial support including earned value, compliance, risk and opportunity assessment, LRE/EAC creation and material reporting.
Serve as the primary Finance point of contact for Engineering Capital Manager
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Working experience with SAP and/or APEX and/or PRISM and/or similar financial system
Working experience using Microsoft Office Tools
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other applicable field.
Ability to work with teams to identify opportunities for and implement process improvements
Working knowledge of the EAC process
Knowledge of material reporting and analysis
Program financial management
Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and communicate sometimes complex financial scenarios
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Strong written and verbal Communication Skills

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
