Description
A global cement manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead, integrate, and direct plant maintenance functions for its operations. This role is responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment availability, ensure operational efficiency, and drive cost-effective plant performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the maintenance department to align activities with overall plant operational goals.
- Implement and manage global maintenance frameworks, directives, SOPs, and work instruction standards across all plant units.
- Drive preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability.
- Oversee operational budgets, maintenance costs, spare parts inventory planning, and replacement CAPEX initiatives.
- Monitor equipment performance, technical information systems, and plant signals to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with crushing, quality assurance, process, and production teams to execute maintenance plans smoothly.
- Manage third-party contractors, vendor risks, and cost-reduction initiatives to support plant EBITDA targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel through training, performance management, and employee engagement programs.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and corporate governance standards across all maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related courses.
- Must be a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cement manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Extensive expertise in preventive maintenance execution, equipment servicing, and cement manufacturing processes.
- Strong skills in maintenance planning, financial budgeting, and cross-functional team leadership.
