Ralliant Global Benefits Manager, EMEA & APAC
Hybrid role.
It could potentially be remote, depending on the candidate's location.
We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and proactive Benefits Manager, EMEA & APAC to lead and oversee employee benefits programs across multiple Ralliant Operating Companies throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of regional employee benefits programs across 30+ countries, including health and welfare benefits, retirement and pension plans, leave programs, wellbeing initiatives, and employee perquisites.
The Benefits Manager will provide leadership and day-to-day direction to Total Rewards employees including but not limited to a Benefits Partner and Senior Total Rewards Specialist, ensuring the effective delivery of benefits programs and exceptional employee experience across the regions. This role requires strong collaboration with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Legal, HR Operations, business leaders, external consultants, brokers, and vendors to ensure compliant, competitive, and cost-effective benefit offerings aligned with Ralliant's global Total Rewards strategy.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and stakeholders, balancing planning with operational execution while ensuring compliance with local regulations and market practices across EMEA and APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead governance, administration, and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs across EMEA and APAC, including healthcare, life and disability insurance, retirement and pension plans, wellbeing programs, leave programs, and employee perquisites.
- Manage, coach, and develop a Total Rewards team including but not limited to a Benefits Partner and Senior Total Rewards Specialist, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused team.
- Partner with regional and global leadership to develop benefits strategies that support business objectives, talent attraction, employee engagement, and retention.
- Oversee the implementation, renewal, harmonization, and ongoing management of country-specific benefits programs while balancing local market competitiveness and global consistency.
- Direct the administration of retirement and pension programs across the region, including governance, compliance, funding coordination, vendor management, employee communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead annual and periodic benefits renewal processes, including market reviews, benchmarking, vendor negotiations, cost analysis, plan design recommendations, and implementation activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance requirements, pension regulations, data privacy requirements, and employee benefit legislation across EMEA and APAC countries.
- Partner closely with Payroll, HR Operations, HR Partners, Finance, Legal, and external providers to ensure seamless integration and administration of benefits programs and accurate employee deductions and reporting.
- Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers, pension providers, and third-party administrators to ensure service excellence, contract compliance, and optimal program performance.
- Develop and execute employee communication and education strategies related to benefits offerings, enrollment activities, policy changes, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex benefits issues, employee inquiries, and leadership requests while ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Lead benefits-related audits, inventories, governance reviews, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities across the region.
- Analyze utilization, participation, market trends, and program effectiveness to identify opportunities for enhancement and cost optimization.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to senior leadership regarding benefits design, vendor selection, employee value proposition, and total rewards initiatives.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and organizational changes by assessing benefits impacts and developing implementation strategies for affected populations.
- Continuously monitor regulatory developments and market practices across EMEA and APAC to ensure programs remain compliant, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in benefits administration, including retirement, pension plan administration and payroll operations in APAC and EMEA.
- Strong knowledge of country specific employee benefits laws and regulations.
- Experience managing enrollment processes and benefits communications.
- Experience sourcing implementing broad Benefits programs
- Proficiency with benefits administration systems and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities with a sense of urgency for time sensitive matters
- Strong project management with experience leading broad based complex projects.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification such as Certified Global Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
- Experience working with third-party pension, works councils, external benefits providers and vendors
- Experience managing 3rd party Benefits Administration Partners and Benefits Consultants
