Shift: 3/2 Schedule 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Pay Range: $24.41 - $36.61 (+ $2.50/hour night shift premium)

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Working knowledge of metallizing or related process
Forklift certification preferred
Ability to judge distances while operating heavy equipment
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to perform data entry
Ability to be self-directed and to multitask
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to lift objects weighing 60 pounds
Ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
Resume with qualification is required for further consideration
Internal Candidates:
- Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher
- No disciplinary actions beyond a Verbal warning within the past 120 days
- Must be in current role a minimum of 120 days
- May not be on probation or Performance Improvement Plan
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate the Metallizer to meet the department goals for waste, safety, quality, and production
- Perform quality checks during the shift to ensure the customer specifications are being met
- Understand the Vacuum System on the metallizer
- Effectively communicate to all associates during the shift on waste, quality, safety, and production related issues
- Manage the operator assistance during the shift to meet the department goals
- Follow all relevant work instruction that pertain to the Metallizer Operator position
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area that meets AIB requirements at all times during the shift
- Entering data into PIMS and OPUS to record production data
- Operating overhead crane in automatic mode and performing roll change in a safe, productive manner
- Operating a forklift
- Participating as a team member on the plant process teams
- Being a team player by assisting on other equipment
- Completing duty checklists
- Tracking waste on each roll produced
- Reviewing job jacket information at the beginning of each job and ensuring that the correct material is run for the customer
- Performing vacuum maintenance on the schedule days
- Cutting samples for lab testing
- Using Beloit Meter to check quality of raw material and WIP
