Senior Manager – Materials Engineering & Technical Operations

Opportunity Overview
We are currently partnering with a prominent technical services and quality assurance organization in Hong Kong to identify an experienced Senior Manager. This key leadership role oversees daily operational activities, leads multidisciplinary technical teams, and upholds quality assurance frameworks across major civil, infrastructure, and built-environment developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations across technical facilities and field testing environments.
- Technical Governance: Oversee quality management systems, maintain compliance with local and international accreditation standards, and act as a key approval authority for technical documentation, reports, and procedures.
- Commercial & Client Relations: Serve as a primary technical liaison for major clients, assist in preparing proposals/tenders, and support the expansion of service capabilities.
- Resource & Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, optimize resource allocation, and assess technology or equipment investments to support business growth.
- HSE & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build technical teams while enforcing strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Science, Civil/Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience, including at least 8 years within the broader construction, materials, or technical quality assurance sectors.
- Proven track record in a senior supervisory or managerial role within an accredited technical, testing, or quality management framework.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
