Centuries of wonder fill our walls, letting you trace the history of the city from the Baroque era to the neoclassical to modern day. Four Seasons Hotel Prague has a unique location, consists of three historical buildings connected to a new construction, has 157 rooms including 19 suites.About the Role
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, creating memorable first and last impressions for every guest who visits our hotel. As part of the Front Office team, you will ensure smooth arrivals and departures while providing personalized service, handling guest requests, and anticipating needs with warmth and professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality.
What You Will Do
- Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and professionally
- Ensure guests are assigned the correct room type and rate while maintaining accuracy in all transactions
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns with care, confidence, and a solutions-oriented approach
- Assist guests with information regarding hotel services, facilities, events, and local recommendations
- Respond to guest communications in person, by phone, and through digital channels in a timely manner
- Process payments, foreign currency exchanges, and cashiering procedures accurately
- Reconcile financial transactions and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Support group arrivals and departures, including dedicated group check-in arrangements
- Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations when required
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation information in hotel systems
- Create opportunities to personalize the guest experience and deliver memorable "wow" moments
- Support revenue generation through upselling and promoting hotel services and experiences
What You Bring
- Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or a luxury hospitality environment is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English, spoken and written; additional languages are highly valued
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and resourceful under pressure
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with hotel systems and computer applications
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset
