Overview
Position: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
Location: NovaCare in Cambridge, Maryland
Schedule: Part-time
Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00/ Hr.
At NovaCare in Cambridge, Maryland, we take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience. Our clinical team treats a diverse outpatient population, helping all our patients return to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
This is a part-time position that will average 8-12 hours per week, treating until 6 PM. Your last patient is scheduled an hour prior.
At least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required to be considered.
Our outpatient center offers a diverse caseload, including:
- ACL Program
- Amputees
- Dry Needling
- Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)
- General Orthopedics
- Industrial
- Neuro
- Post-Offer Employment Testing (POETs)
- Sports Medicine

Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
- Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
- Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
- Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- CPR certification
