Description
Central Kentucky Community Action Transportation Services (CKCATS) is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance & Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and day-to-day facility operations supporting our transportation services across Marion, Nelson, LaRue, Grayson, and Breckinridge Counties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility or maintenance management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep buildings, equipment, vehicle-supporting facilities, and grounds safe, functional, and well-maintained.

- Oversee daily maintenance and facility operations.
- Perform and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Identify maintenance needs and ensure repairs are completed promptly.
- Coordinate outside contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate service records.
- Manage maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Respond to facility emergencies and maintenance issues as needed.
- Ensure facilities and grounds are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Monitor compliance with applicable safety and facility requirements.
- Assist with purchasing and management of facility-related supplies and expenses.
- Travel between CKCATS service locations throughout the five-county service area as required.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve facility efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar maintenance, facility management, property maintenance, or related role.
- Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate repairs efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, certifications, or additional education are a plus.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout Marion, Nelson, LaRue, Grayson, and Breckinridge Counties.
