Ultrasound Technologist PRN 20P, Marshall Medical Centers South, PRN, Shift Varies

Responsibilities

 

Performs clinical imaging procedures to include general ultrasound and vascular imaging where qualified at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Responsible for maintaining the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.

Receives and processes necessary patient information, Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort and protection. Assists the radiologist and attending physician. Communicates effectively and appropriately, works efficiently and productively, maintains a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper use and care of equipment. Reflects a caring attitude for patients, visitors, and employees. Stays abreast of changes in their profession or discipline through continuing education programs.

 

Qualifications

 

1.    ARRT Licensure or ADRMS registered

2.    Expected to take call in any area after the completions of competency requirements are met.

3.    CPR certification.
