WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Reporting to the BW-PC Sourcing Unit Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for the total management of operations of his/her section in the BW-PC Cavite site, ensuring that key business metrics such as Safety, Quality, Service, Waste, and Cost are achieved.

As the Section Lead:

• Ensure min 95% output reliability and achieve best-in-class productivity to deliver agile and reliable service.
• Build and develop agile work systems that engage, empower, and motivate employees towards a highly autonomous work culture.
• Coordinate all production activities in the plant through the section.
• Ensures integration of UMS and R2S methodology and strategy as well as facilitation of best-proven practice in the factory.
• Drive autonomous-based maintenance of equipment.
• Achieve desired production costs, OEE, waste, etc. for his/her section
• Provide coaching and training for teams to drive capability development.
• Eliminate Waste and Loss according to the UMS prioritization process using AM, PM, FI and QC pillar tools and methodologies working with trinity and other pillars
• Create Technical and Process Standards to ensure process stability on the line.
• Train line crews on technical and process standards, and restoration of basic conditions (Stability sustainability).
• Identify and extend good practice to other lines.
• Application and accuracy of MMP Code data.
• Loss analysis & top loss elimination using UMS tools.
• Communicate the meaning behind data and the losses it pertains to.
• Deliver savings in accordance with a cross-functional glidepath.
• Lead projects and initiatives towards long term improvements for reducing losses, waste, NVAA, and other inefficiencies.
• Initiate and support digitalization projects aimed to provide automations to eliminate human intervention, increase data accuracy and visibility, optimize workflow processes, and allow for an interconnected factory system.

Experiences & Qualifications

• Preferably with 1-3 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Fresh grads with active org leadership experience are welcome to apply
• Must fully understand and enforce SHE standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Must be able to effectively manage conflict while creating an inclusive work environment
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing equipment, concepts, and regulations
• Preferably with leadership experience in WCM/UMS, R2S
• Preferably with strong experience in change management
• Must clearly understand how operational performance ties to financials and be able to deliver cost-based objectives

Skills

• You must be a strong people manager/person: You must be prepared to lead all members of the site to success.
• You must use your strategic thinking skills: You will ensure that the manufacturing process delivers its required output at maximum efficiencies as planned. You will formulate short-term and long-term manufacturing strategies, together with the Sourcing Unit Manager.
• You are a teacher and a student: Participate in regional site meetings and work with the PC network to share/gain best practice for implementation within site.
• You are a dot connector: Liaison with all key stakeholders (departments) to ensure full alignment with production schedule and key production milestones including QA, R&D, Engineering, HR, Planning, & Logistics.
• You love to win and have fun doing it: This role is critical to ensuring engagement between departments, with an emphasis on Safety/Quality collaboration. Develop and invest in people.
