Chambliss Center for Children is hiring caring and energetic Teacher Assistants and Substitutes to work in a one-of-a-kind childcare program located inside Hamilton County Schools. These classrooms serve children from infants to Pre-K and allow the schools to offer on-site childcare to their staff with young children.

Pay: From $11/hour with a high school diploma and limited experience. Pay increases with education and classroom experience.

What You’ll Need
- Must be 18 or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a fingerprint background check
- Experience in early childhood education is a plus
- Team player with a love for working with children and families
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and care for children during all activities
- Help plan and lead fun, learning-based activities
- Keep the classroom clean and organized
- Work closely with other staff, parents, and volunteers
- Watch for children’s health needs and respond appropriately
- Support the overall mission of Chambliss Center for Children
