We are seeking Quality Technicians for our First Quality Baby Products facility located in Macon, GA. The starting pay rate for this position is $20/hour. You must be able to work a 12 hour night shift.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform audits in a timely manner
- Enter test data and inspection data into computer software accurately
- Follow hold procedures for products not acceptable for shipment
- Complete paperwork as required
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Walk and stand for a 12 hour period
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 50lb
- Keep your work area clean and orderly
- Learn a lot of new information in a short period of time
- Ask lots of questions and take initiative to learn more
- Be an active and productive member of the Quality Assurance team
- Communicate problems to leaders and production personnel, as required
- Perform basic math, such as calculated area and perimeter of a square, converting percent to decimal, and converting decimal to percent
- Work a shift that requires nights and every other weekend
1-2 years of experience as a Quality Auditor or Technician is preferred!
