Automation Tester – Basildon, UK (Onsite)We are looking for experienced Automation Testers to join our team for an exciting Payments & Merchant Acquisition project.📍 Location: Basildon, UK🏢 Work Mode: Fully Onsite📅 Contract Duration: 6+ Months👥 Openings: 4💼 Experience: 5+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking hands-on Functional and Automation Testers with experience in Digital Portal and Transaction Processing systems within the payments domain.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and execute automation and manual test cases• Perform Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing• Analyze requirements and create detailed test scenarios• Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects using tools such as JIRA / HP Quality Center• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery• Provide regular test status reports and defect analysisRequired Skills✔ 5–6+ years of QA / Automation Testing experience✔ Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)✔ Experience with SQL and data validation testing✔ Familiarity with Digital Portal testing & Transaction Processing systems✔ Experience using JIRA or HP Quality CenterNice to Have• Experience with POS terminal testing (PAX / Ingenico / Clover)• Knowledge of payment card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.)• Experience with ETL testing (SQL / ODI)• Understanding of the payments processing lifecyclePersonal Attributes✔ Strong attention to detail✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management✔ Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
