We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our culinary team. We have a two full-time, every-weekend positions available. These roles are ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent schedule and will take pride in preparing quality meals for our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star parents.
Schedule Options
- 40 hours per week; five 8-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week; two 10-hour shifts and two 8 hour shifts

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Ensure meals are appetizing, nutritious, and served on time
- Work closely with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas

Requirements
- Cooking experience in a healthcare, institutional, or commercial kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, organized, and respectful demeanor
- Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Basic computer skills
