Assistant Project Manager

P B Hoidale Co Inc is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in coordinating and executing all aspects of our various projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to our clients’ expectations. Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Project Manager, assist in the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion. Participate in the development of project objectives and project proposals, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate an ability to take initiative in this area. Assist in maintaining project schedules, manage stakeholders, and use project management tools to track project performance. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring resource availability and allocation. Perform risk management, identifying and analyzing potential risks, and devise mitigation strategies. Keep track of, and report on, the project's progress to all stakeholders, writing detailed reports. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Project Management is a plus. Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a similar role. Experience in the construction industry is preferred. Excellent knowledge of project management software like MS Project, Primavera, or similar. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively present to a variety of audiences. Excellent leadership qualities, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate among cross-functional teams.
