We are looking for a technically skilled, design-driven Project Architect to join their Multi-Family team in San Diego, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a studio that values both craft and community.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at their San Diego office.
What You'll Do

Take the lead on architectural assignments for moderate to complex projects, bringing strong design sensibility and technical rigor.

Analyze design, planning, and layout options to support project goals and client needs.

Gather and evaluate relevant data, translating insights into clear, actionable design decisions.

Provide architectural support from Schematic Design through permitting and Construction Administration, ensuring work meets quality standards and project requirements.

Direct and oversee the production of design and construction documents, maintaining alignment with codes, budgets, and overall design intent.

Mentor and support project team members, offering technical guidance and helping them grow professionally.

Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, consultants, the Project Manager, and the internal team to ensure a smooth project experience.

Qualifications
-
Licensed and registered Architect in the state of California.

5+ years of professional experience.

Experience in multifamily housing projects is required.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB‑accredited program.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
