Manufacturing Process Engineer
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Overview
We’re partnering with a growing, forward-thinking manufacturing company in the Sioux Falls market to add a Manufacturing Process Engineer to their team. This is a high-impact role focused on improving production efficiency, driving process consistency, and supporting ongoing growth across the operation.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, continuous improvement, and working closely with both production and engineering teams to make a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineering initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Develop, execute, and analyze trials for new materials and process improvements
- Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation
- Drive process consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across production lines
- Qualify new materials and update product specifications as needed
- Partner with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and leadership
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to operate independently
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Familiarity with SolidWorks
- Understanding of industry standards such as ASME, ASTM, and ANSI
