Requirements:

General Duties for Team Members:

• Interact with Guests in a Fun Friendly way
• Be able to follow Smokey Mo’s processes accurately and efficiently
• Maintain proper food handling, safety, sanitation and COVID standards
• Achieve our guests' promises of Clean, Friendly, Accurate, Fast and Quality
• Be part of the Team!

Minimum Qualifications for Team Members:

• Able to stand for 8 hours
• Able to reach, bend, squat, stoop, shake, carry, push and lift items throughout the shift
• Be able to follow instructions and perform duties accurately and efficiently
• Good hearing for accurate communication

Main responsibilities of a Front house Team member:

• Managing transactions, making sure pricing is accurate
• Accepting payments and providing receipts
• Bagging purchased goods
• Maintaining a clean and friendly dining area

Front house Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately.

A good job candidate is a person who knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it, together with a product scanner. Their main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service.

The cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our guests and provide them with an outstanding experience.

A qualified candidate must also be able to delight our guests by achieving our guest promises of Clean, Friendly, Accurate, Fast and Quality, be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.

Responsibilities of a Front house Team member:

• Greeting guests when entering and leaving the premises
• Managing transactions in a friendly using a POS register
• Balancing the cash register
• Ringing up orders accurately and Fast
• Accepting payments in cash and credit
• Providing change and receipts
• Must be able to communicate complaints effectively with manager.
• Wrap, bag and export orders to guest
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
• FOH food prep
• Maintaining clean work environment

Front house Job Requirements:

• Experience with POS systems and cash registers
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints

At Smokey Mo’s, not much has changed since the beginning. Although we’ve grown to 20 BBQ stores throughout Central Texas, we’re still known for our great BBQ staples and friendly service. Our signature smoked brisket still stays on the pit for 12 to 14 hours. Sure, we’ve had to bend with the times and offer things like fast family meals, BBQ take out and BBQ drive thrus, but we’ve always kept to our roots.
