Make a Career Out of Making a Difference

At Parc Center for Disabilities, you won’t just help people participate — you’ll help them succeed. As a Community Program Specialist / Job Coach, you’ll play a key role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to secure and thrive in meaningful, competitive employment in the community.

If you’re motivated by real results, relationship-building, and seeing people grow, this could be the perfect role for you.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’ll see the impact of your work every day as people gain confidence, skills, and independence.
  • You’ll build strong partnerships with local employers and be a trusted representative of Parc in the community.
  • You’ll enjoy variety in your day — visiting employer sites, coaching participants, and collaborating with a supportive team.
  • You’ll have the tools you need to succeed, including a company vehicle for jobsite travel and an iPad for documentation.

This is a professional, field-based role that values independence, good judgment, and clear communication.

  • Manage an active caseload and meet service delivery requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation, attendance records, and service notes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and attend required trainings and meetings

Requirements

You’ll Be Great in This Role If You:

  • Enjoy working independently in the community and managing your own schedule
  • Communicate  professionally with employers, participants, and families
  • Are organized, dependable, and deadline-driven
  • Understand the importance of accountability, documentation, and compliance
  • Love coaching, mentoring, and helping others grow
  • Can adapt to changing schedules and participant needs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of four (4) years of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities
    • OR a four-year degree in a related field (e.g., social  services, human services)
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (schedule may vary)
  • Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by caseload
  • On-site and community-based role with travel to employer locations
  • Company vehicle provided — no personal vehicle required for jobsite travel
  • iPads provided for documentation and work-related tasks

Compensation & Benefits

We value our team and offer a strong benefits package:

  • 10 paid holidays (available immediately)
  • 18 PTO days
  • 2 personal days (available immediately)
  • Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA and FSA options
