Substitute Teachers at The Oaks Academy play a vital role in supporting the teachers, ensuring that students experience a consistent and engaging learning environment. Substitutes are trained and provided insight on The Oaks' teaching techniques and curriculum. This ensures that when they are called to support a classroom during the teacher’s absence, they feel comfortable and prepared.
The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered and diverse school that offers a unique learning experience for students from all over central Indiana. Students at The Oaks thrive as they learn, grow, and explore ideas and the world around them. With an average of 16 students per classroom, Oaks Academy Early Ed. teachers are able to focus on facilitating holistic, authentic learning in a collaborative community.

- Follow instructional plans in absence of regular teachers
- Model and teach habits that help students grow in wisdom, compassion, and Christ-like maturity

- Ensure students thrive as they develop strong relationships with God, others, ideas, and the world
- Know and love each student to promote their continued growth and development

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and teaching experience preferred
- Devout Christian who is a member of, associated with, or seeking to be associated with, a Christ-centered community of faith or a church
