Description
Moss Solar, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is hiring Water Truck Operators with a valid CDL to support our growing solar projects at the Windy Lane location within House/Portales/Clovis/Ft. Sumner, NM area.
If you have experience operating commercial vehicles and can handle physical labor in various weather conditions, apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a water truck to control dust and maintain site conditions on solar project sites
• Perform routine watering of roads, work areas, and excavation zones
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
• Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members
• Assist with general labor duties as needed, including site cleanup and material support
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times
Requirements:
• Valid CDL required
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or heavy equipment experience (construction or solar preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8+ hours a day
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold or heat)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Pre-employment drug test required
• Other duties as assigned
Pay:
$24/hr, based on experience
