Overview
IU Health is seeking a Surgical Skilled Technologist for our University Hospital, which houses 23 operating rooms across various surgical specialties including thoracic, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and transplant services. As part of our academic medical center focused on high-acuity cancer care, you'll provide support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring proper surgical equipment setup, assisting surgeons within professional standards, and maintaining sterile field protocols. The position requires a high school diploma, CST certification from NBSTSA within 4 months of hire, and BLS certification. Work schedule is rotating weekdays (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with on-call and holiday requirements.
