As an Irrigation Technician, you'll maintain and repair irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts. You'll monitor, troubleshoot, and test systems, turn systems on/off as designated, and repair/replace hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads. The role involves operating timers and controls, installing irrigation lines, conducting inspections, and using hand/power equipment.
