Senior Embedded Software Developer - C/C++ / Linux / Hybrid
Rottweil - Germany
Hybrid - up to 85,000 euros
YourCode Recruitment Group have recently partnered with an established Engineering firm, founded in 1967 who are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in C++, Linux, and embedded systems. These are high tech systems with engineering and quality at the heart of it.
The position is full-time and hybrid. In terms of the hybrid model it varies on a weekly basis. They are unable to work fully remote due to the size of some of their systems but for a couple of weeks at a time you may be able to work from home, whereas in some occasions you might need to be in the office for a full week depending on the project.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software applications.
- Work with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware.
- Debug and troubleshoot software problems.
- Work on a team to develop and maintain software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Experience with Linux for Embedded Development
- Ideally some experience with Python for testing
- Any network and security experience would be desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
