We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Gynaecology/Genitourinary Cancer Care Coordinator to join our nursing team, on a part-time basis, working 4 days a week. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their cancer journey, ensuring they receive coordinated, personalised care every step of the way.

Working closely with patients, carers, doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will act as a key point of contact, providing expert clinical support, education and care coordination while helping to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

More specifically, you will:

• Coordinate and facilitate patient care across the cancer treatment journey
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans
• Provide expert clinical advice, education and support to patients, carers and healthcare professionals
• Act as a key point of contact for patients, families and referring health services
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning discussions
• Support quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and experience
• Contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical processes and patient resources

We're looking for someone who has:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Significant oncology nursing experience, ideally within cancer care coordination, medical oncology, haematology or radiation oncology
• A postgraduate qualification in Oncology Nursing, Advanced Nursing or a related discipline (or currently working towards)
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated experience coordinating care for patients with complex health needs
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
