Position Overview
The Director, Global Order Management (GOM) will lead the company’s global master planning function, acting as the central planning control tower across all manufacturing locations. The role is responsible for consolidating customer demand (forecast and PO), conducting waterfall analysis, and translating demand into optimized materials planning and production master planning (MPS). This position ensures alignment between demand, production, shipment, and invoice projection to achieve on-time delivery while controlling inventory and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead global order management and master planning (MPS & materials planning)
• Drive demand consolidation and forecast/PO waterfall analysis
• Ensure alignment between production plan, shipment execution (SI & FG), and invoice projection
• Control materials and finished goods (FG) movement to avoid excess inventory
• Optimize inventory levels across RM, WIP, and FG with focus on aging reduction
• Coordinate with site planners for execution of global plans
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and BU teams
• Balance level loading with P&L considerations to avoid build-for-stock
• Provide early warning on demand, lead-time, and capacity risks
• Lead digital transformation of planning, analytics, and reporting
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
• 12–15 years in order management, PMC, or supply chain planning
• Experience in multi-country manufacturing environments (EMS preferred)
• Strong experience in MPS/MRP, waterfall analysis, and inventory management
• Proven leadership experience managing regional or global teams
