Currently, we are seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer with at least 10 years of experience, based in Mexico City, Mexico. Responsabilidades
- Develop device drivers and application firmware for products using 32 bit microcontrollers
- Maintain and support existing embedded software
- Interfaces with other members of the development team, validation test and field application engineers
- Development and maintenance of firmware design documentation.
- Develop Unit and Acceptance Tests, and document test procedures
Calificaciones
Must Haves
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience
- Knowledge about microcontrollers and internals is required and able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics
- Experience with Super loop and RTOS architectures
- Proficiency in C/C++/Python
- Familiarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have English language skills
- Experience in encryption and cybersecurity methods
- Deep understanding of the CAN protocol, including J1939, J1979, J979-2 and in general the J1962 protocols
Strong Pluses
- MS in Computer Science preferred
- Experience with eLinux architecture
- Experience with Cellular, BLE, and WiFi protocols
- Experience with Test Automation using scripting languages
- Experience with POSIX programming
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as UDP and TCP, SSL/TLS, HTTP(s) and MQTT(s)
