Software Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join the team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining advanced full-stack applications, translating business requirements into efficient, scalable, and reliable code. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to design and develop scalable full-stack solutions.
• Design and implement user-friendly features while adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Refine business requirements by communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand project goals.
• Automate testing and deployment pipelines to ensure the smooth release of features and updates.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack while optimizing application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with expertise in full-stack development.
• MUST proficiency in Adobe ColdFusion programming and database management using SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of containerization frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development in a team setting.
• Familiarity with automated testing practices and test-driven development (TDD).
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and using tools like Jira for project tracking.
• Robust problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
