As an Insured Annuities Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing new insured annuity sales and carrying out the administrative work associated with their setup and ongoing administration.

What You’ll Accomplish With Us
As an Insured Annuities Analyst, you will collaborate on the implementation of new insured annuity sales and participate in a variety of administrative activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing new insured annuity contracts by analyzing and preparing data for loading into administrative systems;
- Certifying data loaded into administrative systems and ensuring its accuracy through rigorous validation;
- Preparing welcome letters for new clients and performing mail merge activities in Word;
- Processing accounting transactions related to annuity implementation, including cash receipts, accounting entries, and sales-related transactions;
- Performing actuarial calculations as part of insured annuity administration, including certain termination calculations using administrative systems;
- Contributing to the improvement of IT tools and work processes;
- Responding to inquiries from clients and business partners.
What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role
This position will allow you to leverage your teamwork skills, attention to detail, and business acumen. We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Holds a diploma in Financial Services and Insurance, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any other relevant education;
- Is recognized for their attention to detail and rigor;
- Has strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel;
- Is able to manage multiple files simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks;
- Has strong mathematical abilities;
- Has programming knowledge (an asset);
- Has knowledge of insured annuities or defined benefit pension plans (an asset).
