About Artheon
The individual will be supporting in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. The role involves a blend of technical, administrative, and quality assurance responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Inspect work on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Identify and report issues such as poor workmanship or use of substandard materials with little to no supervision but escalates when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project progress, materials, and activities
- Builds and maintains reports, change orders, and other documentation necessary to run an effective project
- Work with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution
- Communicate project progress to senior engineers and project managers both internally and externally to the company and clients when required
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure they adhere to safety protocols and engineering requirements
- Assist in resolving technical challenges, provide input on solutions, and make recommendations based on engineering analysis
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations on-site, following established procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Field Knowledge: A strong understanding of civil/construction engineering principles, modern construction methods, and materials
- Familiarity with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets & Highways
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues early and work toward effective solutions
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in both verbal and written communication for clear reporting and interaction with team members and clients
- Attention to Detail: Ability to analyze construction drawings, specifications, and site conditions carefully to ensure quality and compliance
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- 4 years’ experience
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Equivalent
- Municipal Inspector Certification
