About the Role

As a Casual Dental Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting dentists during procedures while ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients. You'll assist with chairside procedures, infection control, patient preparation, and the day-to-day operation of the dental practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and sterilisation
• Assist with patient preparation and post-treatment care
• Process and maintain clinical records and documentation
• Manage stock levels and prepare equipment for daily use
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service

What you'll need

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Assistant
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of infection prevention and sterilisation procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a busy clinical team
• Australian working rights
