Description
Stryker is seeking a Senior Supply Planner (Hybrid) to create an overall supply plan for the Belfast (HeartSine), Lund (LUCAS), and Redmond (A&D) sites. This individual will interface with site production leads, production scheduling, procurement, finance, IBP management and customer service to ensure an integrated approach to supply planning within the franchise. They will also take the lead in responding to the demand requirements from the business and ensuring that there is a supply plan in place to communicate what needs to be produced and purchased to the manufacturing and supply base within the franchise. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a candidate in or around Belfast, Northern Ireland, with the flexibility to work from home in line with site hybrid guidelines.
Permanent and hybrid role , with at least 3 days onsite.

What you will do:
Responsible for the creation of a Master Resource Plan based on the latest demand signal to cover what needs to be produced or purchased as a finished product and to ensure that within the process there is sufficient raw materials and components to support the required supply plan up to a 24-month time horizon
Responsible for the creation of capacity plans based on the latest demand signal, to identify where there are any potential bottlenecks or risks to supply and to develop and recommend appropriate proposals to mitigate and to ensure that the plant or 3rd party can meet the future demand. Also identify where there is significant underutilization which could impact the costs of supply
Develop and maintain a supply plan across a complex, multi-site portfolio as franchise scope evolves.
Ability to work on capability building as part of cross functional teams and add expertise in creating optimal solutions
Responsible for the setting of the correct levels of inventory within the supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times. Specifically, the creation of a safety stock strategy and plan that enables continuity of product availability at the optimal level of cash investment
Ensure that the supply plan is financially evaluated with regard to balancing the requirement of consistent product availability versus the cost of supply and the investment needed in conjunction with financial partners to ensure meeting the operational budgets and targets
Track the execution of the supply plan with production scheduling and buying ensuring that the plan is fully operationalised and tracked for performance deviation, including mitigation on back orders and proactive communication of future supply risks
Ensure within the supply plan that products are phased in and planned correctly as well as ensuring communication and timing of exiting products within the plant or 3rd party. Communicating with the business regarding the status of the product portfolio from a supply planning perspective
Have effective communication and confirmation back from supply planning to the demand plan in confirming capability to meet the requirements via the daily and weekly execution process but also via a robust monthly executive supply process
KPIs for the role will be Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilisation, Backorder and Lead Time
Responsible for root-causing performance issues and acting on own capability to mitigate and correct
What you need:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business or related field
4 years of experience in production, supply or demand planning role where knowledge is demonstrated and experience gained in planning
Strong proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems)
Master data maintenance experience on ERP platforms and use heuristics in driving exception based planning approach
Experience of IBP and S&OP principles and demonstrate knowledge of the process in daily working within existing or previous business
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites, time zones, and product lines
Preferred Qualifications
APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent professional supply chain accreditation
Proven ability to lead projects focused on structured problem solving and root cause analysis utilising Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
