The Wanderers Club is urgently looking to hire an pantry cook
Requirements
1. Responsible to report to work on time in a clean uniform on scheduled days with proper tools to perform required duties
2. Completely responsible for entire set-up of station mise en place, ensuring freshness and quality of food products
3. Communicate to Supervisor any potential problems or concerns at an appropriate time in order to rectify the problem in a timely fashion
4. Perform job duties in accordance with club policies, procedures, and standards
5. Maintain station in a healthy, neat, safe and clean environment by utilizing proper handling and storage procedures for mise en place
6. Responsible for entire set-up of cold breakfast mise en place. Responsible for ensuring freshness and quality of all food product.
7. Responsible for food allocated to station for restaurant and or room service menu
8. Assist in banquet preparation and pickup when requested by Supervisor
9. Produce the finest quality product with a positive attitude
10. Responsible in assisting any and all colleagues who may be in the need of assistance?
11. Responsible for proper rotation of food and breakdown of station
12. Inventory and prepare all salad dressings
13. Responsible for proper usage of equipment in compliance with Club rules and regulations
14. Responsible for communicating with coworkers on each shift of any problems or concerns
15. Attend pre-shift where Sous Chef conveys any relevant Club information
16. Responsible for handling and production of specialty and basic domestic lettuces for entire kitchen
16. Clean line coolers as well as maintaining clean and orderly coolers and area
