Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to coordinate appropriate follow-up with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entry points, stockroom-adjacent spaces, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating relevant observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
