We are looking for two Trainees, People Insights to join KONE’s Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation (E&T) team for a 12-month temporary assignment.

For a final-year university student or recent graduate who is AI native, curious about data, and confident with Power BI, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to help build a new People Insights capability in KONE People & Communications (P&C).
You will support the Manager, People Insights in turning people, business, and operational data into meaningful analysis, visualizations, and insights that help leaders make better decisions. You will get to work on real business questions, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to a capability that is important for KONE’s transformation and future growth.
What you’ll do
Support the development of People Insights reporting, dashboards, and analysis using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and AI-enabled solutions
Help translate people-related business questions into data analysis and clear, practical insights
Prepare, clean, combine, and validate data from different sources to enable reliable analysis and visualization
Build and improve Power BI dashboards, reports, and visual materials that make insights easy to understand and use
Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, identify patterns, summarize findings, and improve productivity
Support advanced analytics use cases related to topics such as workforce effectiveness, attrition, productivity, capability building, and organizational transformation
Create clear presentations and data stories for internal stakeholders and leadership discussions
Help identify data quality gaps and improvement opportunities, and support actions to improve data accuracy and usability
Contribute to the ways of working, documentation, and best practices of the new People Insights capability
What we’re looking for
Final-year university student or recent graduate in a relevant field such as analytics, business, technology, economics, social sciences, psychology, human resources, or a related discipline
Strong interest in people analytics, business insights, organizational effectiveness, and how data can support better decision-making
Good hands-on skills in Power BI and Excel, with the ability to work with structured data and create clear visualizations
AI native mindset, with curiosity and practical experience in using AI tools to improve analysis, productivity, communication, and problem solving
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to structure information clearly
Ability to communicate findings in a clear, simple, and visually compelling way
Curiosity to connect different data domains, such as people, finance, operations, and business performance
Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a global, fast-moving environment
Basic SQL, Python, statistics, or data modeling skills are considered an advantage, but not mandatory
Previous experience in HR, people analytics, business analytics, consulting, or reporting is a plus
